Permissions to open lower standards
V-Vii in a Secondary School
Government
is pleased to direct that the powers to permit opening of lower standards V-VII
in secondary schools, which run higher standards should be delegated to the
regional deputy directors of education. While granting such permission, he
should consider each case strictly on merits, the main consideration being
whether there is a need for the lower standards in the school and whether
opening of the same is likely to lead to unhealthy local competition.
