Aided non-government secondary schools- grant of concessions under The family planning scheme to the employees in the . . . . . .
Government
has decided that the following concessions should be granted to the employees
in aided non-government secondary schools in the state on the occasions
mentioned below, in order to enable them to undergo sterilization operation and
take such rest as is considered necessary immediately after the operation:
Occasion Concession
(i)
Vesectomy
or tubectomy operation. (i)
Special casual leave no exceeding six working days.
(ii)
Female
employees undergoing non- (ii)
Special casual leave not exceeding 14 days.
Puerperal
sterilization.
Note
1. – The special casual leave on the above two occasions can be combined with
ordinary casual leave or regular leave provided the application is supported by
a medical certificate.
Note
2. – The concession in (ii) above should also be granted to female employee who
have three or more living children and who undergo sterilization.
(iii)
Female
employees undergoing (iii)
Special casual leave on the day of insertion on
I.U.C.D.
insertion. Production of a medical certificate.
(iv)
Employee
whose wife undergoes a (iv)
Special Casual leave not exceeding seven days,
Gynaec
sterilization (Tubectomy subject to production of a medical
certificate.
Operation
without delivery).
Note
1. – The special casual leave can be combined with ordinary casual leave or
regular leave provided the application is supported by a medical certificate by
the doctor who actually performs the operation to the effect that the presence
of the employee is essential for the period of leave to look after his wife.
Note
2. – Special causal leave not exceeding four days should be granted to the
employee whose wife undergoes tubectomy operation immediately after the
delivery subject to production of medical certificate from the doctor who
actually performs the operation.
